Faculty have a combination of both curricular & applied exercise science training or national level fitness certifications.  Our staff and leaders promote appropriate behaviour in children’s and family programming.  We do not condone, practice or support any type of sexualization in music, attire, choreography and publicity.  We are parents too.

INSTRUCTOR: Dance, Martial Arts

MISSION STATEMENT – To teach people how to use their God-given gifts to uplift, inspire and bless others, and to neglect or use to become self-centered and selfish.

DANCE: Eddie has years of training and touring performance.  Originally learning Polynesian dance from his mom (former professional Hawaiian dancer with Philippine National Dance Co.) in the 80s, he continued to study Jazz, Urban Dance (Hip Hop, Breakdance), Tap (Irish), Lyrical and performance Latin dance.  In addition to his professional dance work, he was on the National Committee of the Christian Dance Fellowship of Canada, a Dance Captain at the 1999 Pan Am Games, Artistic Director for ONE Performance Collective (Wpg-Vancouver), Dancer for Jennifer Lopez’s film ‘Shall We Dance,’ and Director of Choreography for the 2010 MB Games.

MARTIAL ARTS: Eddie earned black belts in Filipino Arnis de Mano (WSABC) and Chinese Kungfu/Wushu.  His specialties are in Stick, Knife, Sword, Staff & 3 Section Cudgel.  Eddie studied Chinese Gungfu under Sifus David Cliffe, Navid Noroozi, Patrick Kelly, Shane Watson, Jarret Dickinson and Sonny Ayson.  Eddie’s Filipino Martial Arts training (Arnis-Kali-Eskrima) was under  Grandmaster Dante Alambra and Master Dastin Alamba.   He has also taken additional training & seminars with Minnesota Kali, Pekiti-Tersia Int. & Guro Dan Inosanto. Eddie has also shared his art as a Stunt Director and Stuntman for several stage and film projects.  His passion is teaching kids & families traditional values-rich martial artistry, not ‘sports-violence-entertainment.’  Its about values, health,  physical culture, self-confidence and simplified self-defence.

FITNESS: He is a certified teacher in original Montreal Style AcroYogaTM (AYT100hr Montreal), trained in Stott Pilates Advanced Mat (Pilates MB), Hatha Yoga (Maureen Rae) and Gymnastics Coaching 2 (NCCP/U of W).  Eddie is also a Zumba Instructor who loves to infuse his Latin and Hawaiian dance performance experience in his classes. Eddie also completed his Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner Modules 1-3 with Navina Canada.

MASTER TRAINER: Eddie is a canfitpro PRO TRAINER (FIS, PTS, 1st Aid & CPR), training and developing Fitness Instructor / Personal Training Specialists, a former YMCA Canada Fitness Trainer (Group Ex., Resistance, Aquafit) & MFC trained group exercise instructor.

BRETTON SELENT, Registered Massage Therapist

Sr Instructor, Choreographer in Hip Hop, Music, Gymnastics, XtremeDanceCombat and Physical Theatre (Stunts), canfitpro Fitness Instructor Specialist

Bretton is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), a touring performer and choreographer with ‘ONE’ Performance Collective, for its “Book of Angels” (2007), “Five Animals” (2008) and “Shadow of the dragon” (2009) productions in Manitoba and British Columbia. Other stage performances include features in “Guys & Dolls,” “Grease Lightning”, “Beauty and the Beast.” and “Sussical the Musical”. Bretton’s classes have placed gold in the several Manitoba dance festivals.  He was also a choreographer for the opening/closing ceremonies for the “2010 power-smart MB Winter Games” and is director of Steinbach’s “Mo’mentum Performance Team.” Although Bretton loves teaching he is always eager to learn new street styles. Bretton is currently dancing and performing with central Canada’s top Hip Hop dance crew SIKAT” Taking first places at MB and Toronto competitions and trains with Bob “Boobjester” Vuerula of Dangerous Goods Bboy Crew.

Bretton also knows what really matters. He currently is also a signed artist with “Kingdom Music” record label, working with 3 time juno nominee “Fresh IE” as his concert choreographer and as a recording artist. working with Fresh IE, Bretton helps bring encouragement to todays youth. Bretton’s involvement with “Heartstrings World Mission”, a Christian organization that works to support african orphans is still in the works.

Ballet, Cheerleading

EXPERIENCE – Kamille grew up in Dryden Ontario, where she studied Ballet under the instruction of Katherine Bourgon. She also Studied Ukrainian dance, Modern, Jazz and Cheerleading.  Kamille has 20 years dance experience, she is trained in different Ballet styles including Cecetti, RAD and Vagnova, and has attended the RWB teacher training Seminars. She is also a level 6 competitive Cheerleader for Scorpions Elite as well as a level 1-2 USASF certified coach. She has her physical therapy aide certification.

CONTINUING GROWTH – Kamille is in the process of completing her canfitpro FIS certification.
She is hoping to continue her education and become a special education assistant and create dance classes specifically for them as well as get her certification in yoga.

MISSION – To teach and mentor values and dedication through dance by helping students set and meet goals.  To encourage ALL her students to dance without the pressures of the competitive, self-focused ‘dance world,’ keeping dance as a true passion rather than a task or job. To mentor kids through dance rather than just teach them empty movements and meaningless choreography, teaching them that their dance can truly affect others in a positive way.

EXPERIENCE – With over 16 years of technical dance experience, Miss Lyndsay has successfully completed Ballet (Cecchetti) and Jazz (A.D.A.P.T.) exams. She is a certified A.D.A.P.T. Jazz and Tap teacher, qualifying her to enter students into dance exams.  She is also a certified Physical Arts Instructor 1 and has completed her national certification as a Fitness Instructor (canfitpro).  Having attended many dance conventions (including Triple Threat and Pulse), she’s also work-shopped under renowned dancers/choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Brian Freedman, Wade Robson, and Dave Scott.

OUTREACH – Lyndsay has toured to Africa, spending time doing street ministry in Kampla & Gulu, Uganda, working with two different missions organizations.  This also included teaching dance to youth in Gulu, Uganda.  Here in Canada, she was on both performance and outreach tours with XCOMPANY’s semi-professional ONE Performance Collective, which involved touring for venues from Winnipeg-Vancouver…but also outreach to Pukatawagan Reserve.  She’s also a Director of Steinbach’s Mo’mentum Performance Team, winning several competitive awards including gold honors.

CONTINUING KNOWLEDGE – Lyndsay hopes to continue her education in business management, Pilates and Zumba!


B-Boying / Breakdance

Jerald Manlig aka B-Boy Doodlz born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. Doodlz always had a strong interest in the hip-hop culture and began breaking back in 2009. He enjoys competing in B-boy jams and has traveled across Canada for numerous B-Boy events. In 2012 Doodlz was recruited into the B-boy crew known as Dangerous Goods and has since continued to Thrive to always progress and learn. And always have fun and spread positive vibes.
