Known mainly for its flashy stick fighting, FMA-Filipino Martial Arts also heavily trains in knife, ‘dirty’ boxing, joint manipulations, empty-hand defensive strategies.  FMA is now commonly known as Arnis, Eskrima or Kali and can be seen in many Hollywood movies such as Mission Impossible, Quantum of Solace, Die Hard 4, Book of Eli and all the Bourne movies.

The new club, Stonewall X Arnis, will be facilitated by XCOMPANY’s Eddie Miller, is sanctioned by Grandmaster Alambra and Sikaran-Arnis Canada.  Eddie holds black belts in Arnis and Kungfu and also teaches Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Dance and holds national credentials as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and canfitpro PRO Trainer.

Stonewall X Arnis honours the legacy of the original Stonewall Arnis and is endorsed Grandmaster Dante Alambra.

To help promote the program 2011-12, XCOMPANY will be offering affordable TWO-FOR-ONE combined class in both its Kung Fu and Arnis programs.  This means students will train in both styles for the season in a full 90 minute class, with opportunities for belt-testing in each.

All this for less than $200 for the entire Fall-Spring training season!  Kungfu-Arnis will run Tuesday evenings starting Oct at Centennial School.

PCU Centre to offer nationally accredited professional training courses

 This Fall, PCU Centre & XCOMPANY Physical Arts & Fitness have brought national fitness education giant, canfitpro, to Portage for PERSONAL TRAINER and FITNESS INSTRUCTOR certification courses!  Also offered will be Physical Arts Instructor courses for Dance, Martial Arts and Recreation Program Leaders.

Affordable Fitness Canfitpro, a division of Canadian Fitness Professionals Inc. (1993) is a world leader in certification and education of fitness professionals.  With over 25,000 members, canfitpro provides internationally recognized education that is accessible, attainable and affordable.  “There are other certifications that can cost anywhere from about $600-$1500,” states Eddie Miller, XCOMPANY director and canfitpro PROTrainer. “canfitpro courses are also the only ones to combine the Theory, Practical and Exams in one package…all for less than $400!
